Barack Obama is a Whiny Baby
I have two young children at home and, I have to tell you, neither one whines as much as Barack Obama! All of a sudden, after Sen. McCain makes a brilliant move (admittedly, for the first time) by choosing Gov. Palin as his running mate, we’re going to have to send a truckload of cheese to the Obama house to go with all of his w(h)ine. All of the polling has moved toward Sen. McCain, and, in some cases, it has been very dramatic. An ABC News poll now shows McCain +12 with white women, where he had been -8 just a few weeks ago. Most of the daily tracking polls show McCain up slightly nationally and, more importantly, gaining ground in battleground states like Michigan, New Hampshire, and Ohio, where he now leads by as much as 7 points.
So, what is Obama’s response?
It was just like a month ago they were all saying, `Oh, it’s experience, experience, experience.’ Then they chose Palin and they started talking about change, change, change.
They can’t do that to him. He’s “The One!” Sen. McCain knows that he should have told Sen. Obama his strategy before executing it. The Republicans aren’t allowed to have a strategy, anyway. This is just not fair. I think Obama should just take his toys and go home.
Of course, he doesn’t even believe the polls anyway; just like Saddleback, they must be cheating:
The notion that people are swinging back and forth in the span of a few weeks or a few days this wildly generally isn’t borne out.
His campaign manager, David Plouffe was more succint:
Your poll is wrong.
So, what are they going to do about it? From what I can tell, Obama is just going to attack Palin. Isn’t he running against McCain, or am I missing something here? Isn’t Biden supposed to do the attacking? And, in the unthinkable case, what will the “Citizen of the World” do if these polls don’t turn around soon? He wouldn’t consider getting rid of Biden and replacing him with another woman running mate, would he?
