Is Obama Proud to be an American?
First of all, let me just say that I don’t think that Barack Obama is a Muslim or that he doesn’t believe in the Pledge of Allegiance or that he was sworn-in on the Quran or any of the other mindless e-mail drivel that bombard my inbox. However, I do believe that he continues to establish a pattern that calls into question his love for America. As evidence, I offer the following:
- His pastor and close advisor, Jeremiah Wright, cursing America from the pulpit in Obama’s church http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnlRrxXv-v8
- His accusations regarding the “flag pin”… “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin,” Obama said. “Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest.”
- His snubbing of wounded American soldiers in order to pander to foerign leaders and lovestruck Europeans. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-mccain_sunjul27,0,3776182.story
- His wife’s assertion that she is, for the first time in her adult life, proud to be an American. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYY73RO_egw
- His removal of the American flag from his campaign plane. http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=70236
Now, mind you, any of these things taken by themselves is no big deal to me, but this “citizen of the world” is beginning to make me believe that he is prouder to be a “citizen of the world” than he is to be an American citizen.
Am I wrong here?
Yeah…you are wrong here.
